This is the most common pump seen in American hot tubs.
This hot tub pump is used in a variety of different hot tubs in various forms. It fits 2" plumbing which means it has a (68mm union thread) intake and outlet. You can also use this pump to replace LX or Aqua-flo spa pumps because the unions sizes are the same.
This hot tub pump has 2 speeds the low speed used for economic heating of the spa water and the high speed as a boost pump to make the jets work.
When buying the Waterway 2 speed hot tub pump as a replacement for your current model make sure the amperage and connections are similar sized.
This pump has a face plate that fits a 2" plumbing (68mm thread) union.
All new pumps are despatched with the wet end fitted and the return pointing upwards, which means - When the new pump arrives from us the wet end return union will be pointing up, however, the wet end on the pump can easily be rotated the return union up, down, left or right by simply undoing the bolts that hold it onto the motor.
The wiring instructions for this motor are under the capacitor housing cover on the top of the pump motor.
Please note: This hot tub pump comes with no cable so you will have to re-use your existing cable.
