Seals for hot tub heaters: Balboa, Hydroquip, Gecko amongst many other brands and makes.
These seals have a ridge on both sides, 1 that fits into the plumbing tightly and the other that when the union is tightened compresses to give a compression seal that will last for years.
Note: Seals corrode quicker when the PH isn't maintained properly or high levels of chlorine or bromine.
Fitting instructions:
When fitting a heater tube seal to your spa heater, make sure it has a little lubricant on its faces so it seats tightly (Vaseline is perfect for this). Never over tighten unions after fitting a new seal on your hot tub heater as this can lead to damage down the line.
We recommend to replace the seals on hot tubs and spas once a year.

Prior to ordering the parts i reviewed the model and serial number of my Balboa, dismantled the pipe work to establish the correct size of the seal before placing my order.I placed the order and was pleased with the result as the seals arrived within two or 3 working days and are now fitted enabling me to satisfactorily re-commissioned my Hot Tub. Excellent service and would use Hot Tub Parts again should the need arise.
Great item fixed the leaking heater perfectly
Parts were a perfect fit for the new pump I purchased.
Had a leak from my heater and when l opened it up, l found that the gasket had perished. All fixed within minutes of them arriving, couldn't have done it without them
