How do I know if I need a new fuse?

You will need a multimeter to test the fuse to see if it has become and open circuit.

How do I know what fuse I need for my hot tub?

Bussman are specific low blow fuses designed for usage with large electrical pumps that have capacitors fitted, so its best to replace it with another of the same amperage either 20, 25 or 30 amps which is also slow blow made by Bussman.

What is meant by a slow blow fuse?

Slow blow fuses allow for the extra amperage drawn when a motor kicks over, a standard fuse would just blow and are not the same.
