Easily replace your Spaform GC150 pump
As you may no the old GC150 pumps from Spaform haven't been available for a few years now, you can still get parts for the pump i.e. new motors and shaft seals, but there have been no blue wet end parts available for years... The solution is to replace the complete pump.
This pump has the same power output, similar amperage and is roughly the same size so will fit directly into the same spot your last pump fitted.
The pump itself is used on many other hot tubs brands and is made by Waterway (so spares are always available), it comes complete except for a cable which is available separately. It has 2 speeds and is designed to be a circulation pump and boost pump the same as the GC150's.

The problem with the old GC150 pumps is they used a unique thread which isn't used in thr hot tub industry so to make this unit fit you will have to convert the plumbing to fit 2" unions, to do this is actually really easy, it requires cutting of the unions and putting new ones on, this is done by cutting just after the last plumbing joint and before the blue union tailpiece seen on the picture and fitting a new union via a fitting extender included in this kit.
