This model is an I shaped heater, usually found fitted to Chinese hot tubs, but can be used for upgrades and repairs on any make or model of hot tub or spa. The heater tube has an integrated pressure switch and high limit detectors. If you require a replacement for a rooster heater LX heater tubes make a great replacement, the connections are compatible and the length of the tubes is very similar, regarding the power cable the rooster has a 5 core cable (2 lines and 2 neutrals) but this can be easily replaced - see the guide on (Rooster Heater Upgrades).

This item was like for like and fitted perfectly .
I needed a replacement heater for my hot tub. Found one on another site and ordered. When it hadn't arrived I contacted them only to discover that they wanted an extra £12 to ship on top of the £7 already charged. So I looked around and found hot tub diy. The service couldn't have been better. The owner helped me choose the correct model as there are a few similar models. Not only was the heater cheaper but I was only charged £6 to send to the Highlands. The heater itself was actually over £100 cheaper than some sites. I will not even look anywhere else for my parts in future. Great price, great service. Thank you very much the heater is fitted and working perfectly.
