Very impressed I live in a hard water area but this filter has given me crystal clear soft water.

Not sure what this is meant to do but the test strips showed the water coming out of the filter to be exactly the same as what was coming out of the tap but i might not be testing for the right thing

It takes the minerals and such out (read above) ..... Nothing to do with pH, Sanitation or hard water.
